 EDITOR REVIEW: This historic hotel, located right on Delray's hip Main Street, is a terrific place for guests who enjoy being pampered in a place that recalls all the style and glitz of an "Old Florida" resort. The Colony couldn't enjoy a cooler setting, surrounded as it is by sidewalk cafe, galleries and neat little shops. Just a short drive away, the waterside Cabaņa Club provides private access to the beach. And when it's time to retire for the night, guests do so in rooms poshly-appointed with hardwood floors, vintage tropical furniture and original artwork. 70 guestrooms; 22 two bedroom suites.
